Solenoid valves with power-saving circuits (coil part number -5GE) have polarity, so follow the wiring diagram below when making connections. Standard coils have no polarity. The solenoid valve will not switch properly if the polarity is reversed. The maximum operating pressure differential differs depending on the flow direction of the fluid.
