The operating pressure range is from low vacuum (-101 kPa) to 1.0 MPa. As it is an external pilot type valve, pilot pressure must be constantly supplied to the VEX. VEX3 series valves are 3-position valves. All ports are closed when the product is not energized. Piping from 1/8 to 2 inches is supported .

PSE561 is for low vacuum (-101 to 0 kPa), while PSE563 is for compound pressure (-100 to 100 kPa).  The accuracy and construction are suitable for general purpose applications.  Includes a fixed cable with field wired connector option.  PSE561 and PSE562 are UL/CSA, CE and RoHS compliant, with IP65 enclosure ratings.

The maximum set pressure has been expanded from the conventional 101 psi (0.7 MPa) to 116 (0.8 MPa). Relief flow has been increased by nearly 5 times (compared to SMC IR201, IR401). The optional bracket and pressure gauge can be mounted on either the front or back of the unit.
