In order to attach a special order nozzle, the IZN nozzle type should be the female threads for piping type (IZN10E-11□□).

The IZN10 series was discontinued in May 2018, and the IZN10E series was released in June 2017.
New IZN10E series ionizers are lighter and shorter in overall length, but the mounting dimensions are the same as those of the old IZN10 series.
The installed power cables and brackets can be used as is.

The IZN10E is SMC's nozzle ionizer. The nozzle ionizer emits an air-assisted cone of static eliminating ions for focused targets 2 inches or smaller, up to 20 inches away. The nozzle can be used with an optional sensor and monitor to suspend emission when static elimination is complete, or when the target is not present.

The ION/HV LED on a new IZN10E series main unit should be ON (green) when the unit is discharging normally.
However, if the HV or ION/HV LED is ON (red), this indicates a high-voltage error has occurred.
The main cause of this is usually foreign matter or water droplets adhering to the emitter (electrode needle).
Remove the cartridge and clean the emitter.
Note) Old IZN10 and new IZN10E series body assemblies are not interchangeable.
