SMC has developed the VXE series energy saving type, 2 port solenoid valve to help with environmental issues. The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) method was used to allow for less power consumption. By reducing the energy consumption we have also reduced the heat produced by the coil. This series is available in three styles VXE directed operated, VXED pilot operated, and VXEZ zero differential
The VX3000 series is a direct operated, 3 port solenoid valve, for use with a wide variety of fluids. When used in combination with the manifold, configuration can be changed from N.C. to N.O. and from N.O. to N.C. by simply changing a gasket.
