The type with stainless steel 316 as the body material in contact with fluid can also be used with fluids that do not corrode stainless steel 316 or with steam (150°C or less). However, the operating fluid temperature range is -5 to 80°C, (150°C or less for steam used with the stainless steel 316 type). Keep the ambient temperature at 80°C or less even when using with steam.

As a general rule, use 80 to 100 mesh. Water supplied to boilers includes substances such as calcium and magnesium which generate hard scale and sludge.
