In addition, KF series insert fittings with a brass sleeve can be used in temperatures of up to 150°C, and KFG2 series stainless steel 316 fittings can be used in temperatures of up to 260°C. Note that there are limitations on the temperatures and operating fluids depending on the model (swivel elbow, etc.). Refer to the respective catalogs for further details.

The max. operating temperature of TL/TIL, TLM/TILM, and TD/TID series tubing (fixed use) is 260°C for air/inactive gases and 100°C for water. And the max. operating temperature of TH/TIH series tubing (fixed use) is 200°C for air/inactive gases and 100°C for water.

Since the melting point is about 260°C, which is lower than PTFE or PFA, the highest operating temperature is 200°C.

The polymer chains consist of only C-C and C-F bonds, and the tight coverage of the fluorine atoms over the carbon chains protects the C-C bonds, providing very good chemical resistance.
