The difference between the part numbers with a “Z” and without a “Z” is that the “Z” is the symbol used to identify the new CM2 series cylinders. The old CM2 series was discontinued in September 2013, and it was replaced with the refreshed CM2-Z series.
In April 2013, bore sizes ø25, ø32, and ø40 of the MY1B and MY1H series were discontinued and replaced with the MY1B-Z and MY1H-Z series. As of December 2018, other tube diameters are still in production as existing products. The shape of the MY1H-Z has been partially changed, though it is still interchangeable with the old product.
The replacement seal kit part numbers are shown in the “Construction” section in each CA2-Z series catalog (standard type, non-rotating rod type, etc.). The construction drawing below is a standardized version of the CA2-Z.
