In April 2013, bore sizes ø25, ø32, and ø40 of the MY1B and MY1H series were discontinued and replaced with the MY1B-Z and MY1H-Z series. As of December 2018, other tube diameters are still in production as existing products. The shape of the MY1H-Z has been partially changed, though it is still interchangeable with the old product.
The replacement seal kit part numbers are shown in the “Construction” section in each CA2-Z series catalog (standard type, non-rotating rod type, etc.). The construction drawing below is a standardized version of the CA2-Z.

SMC's series CA2-Z air cylinder is 15% lighter than the existing CA2 cylinder. Fine adjustment is now possible due to the increase in the air cushion adjustment range. The CA2-Z can now be ordered with rod end or pivot brackets, and mounting dimensions are the same as the existing CA2.
