AF30 AF40 5) Mount the baffle. Insert the element while carefully checking the installation orientation (direction, in which the element enters the convex side). Direction of baffle (For element convex side Refer to the exploded view.) 6) Tighten the baffle to secure the baffle, element, and deflector.

Replace AF30/40-A and AF30/40-D series air filter bowl assemblies in the following manner.
① Remove the bowl assembly by pushing the lock button on the bowl assembly down and rotating the bowl assembly 30° to either the right or the left. Then, remove the bowl assembly.
