SMC has developed the VXE series energy saving type, 2 port solenoid valve to help with environmental issues.  The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) method was used to allow for less power consumption.  By reducing the energy consumption we have also reduced the heat produced by the coil. This series is available in three styles VXE directed operated, VXED pilot operated, and VXEZ zero differential

The SV series employs a multi-connector instead of the conventional lead wires for internal manifold wiring. By connecting each block with a connector, changes to manifold stations are greatly simplified. Cassette base type manifolds offer the ultimate in flexibility. Manifold sections can be added using a simple release mechanism. Conventional tie-rod base type manifolds are also available

Series VFR consists of 5 port pilot solenoid valves with rubber seals and base mounted type manifolds, available in plug-in and non plug-in styles. Port sizes range from 1/8 to 1/2 with Rc(PT), NPTF & G(PF) thread types available. Various options also available.
