Disassembly 1) After loosening the screw (1), then if the housing (4) is pulled in the direction of the screw (1), the connector will be removed from the body of equipment (solenoid, etc.). Exploded view 2) Pull out the screw (1), then remove the gasket (2). 3) On the bottom part of the terminal block (3), theres a cut-off part (indication of an arrow) (3a).
Disassembly Drawing 1 11 - Disassembly Drawing 2 12 - 3-3. Seal Replacement Procedure1 (Applicable models: MHF2-8D,MHF2-8D1) 1. Loosen the guide bolts and remove the finger assembly. 2. Remove the clips, cap B assemblies, and cap C assemblies. 3. Remove the pinion.
Wiring 1) Insert cable gland (4), washer (5) and rubber seal (6) into cable (7) in order, and insert it into housing (2). 2) Loosen screws (11) on terminal (3). Insert lead wires (10) and tighten screws (11) again. Note 1) The tightening torque should be 0.5 Nm +/15%. Note 2) The applicable outside diameter of cable (7) is 6 to 8 mm.

One-touch Fittings Tube attachment/detachment for One-touch fittings 1) Tube attachment 1. Take a tube having no flaws on its periphery and cut it off at a right angle. When cutting the tube, use tube cutters TK-1, 2 or 3. Do not use pinchers, nippers or scissors, etc.
Operating environment Warning 1.
Connection of piping and fittings When screwing piping or fittings into valves, tighten them as follows. (1) When using SMCs fittings, follow the procedures below to tighten them. 1) M5 First, tighten by hand, then use a suitable wrench to tighten the hexagonal portion of the body an additional 1/6 to 1/4 turn. The reference value for the tightening torque is 1 to 1.5 Nm.
(see Figure 2) (1) Connection and disconnection of tube from one-touch fitting Installation of tube 1) Cut the tube perpendicularly, being careful not to damage the external surface. Use an SMC tube cutter TK-1, 2, 3 or 6.
Maintenance 3-1. Inspections 3-1-1. Daily Check 1) Smoothness of the operation 2) Changes in piston speed and cycle time 3) Smooth movement of the slide table for the entire stroke 3-1-2.
Set the scale on the timing Knob(light Blue)to 8 1.Initial Settings Procedures 1. Initial setting 1-1. [Setting of timing knob and 2nd speed knob] Adjust the timing knob to a position near the fully opened position ("8" on scale), and adjust the 2nd speed knob to the fully closed position ("0" on scale).
